The Project
To progress an assessment of local authority needs to deliver ambition on the Programme for Government (PfG) with recommendations for 23/24 onwards. It will involve research, engagement with partners and subsequent evaluation.
The Role
The main responsibilities of the role are to engage with our partners to understand their business needs from Sustrans: improvements, revisions, additions, and reductions in the partnership offer we provide them. Coordinated working with Partnerships team colleagues and Research & Monitoring Unit colleagues. There will be background research required and the undertaking of a qualitative study. The output of the project will be a written report with recommendations.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will be measured and well-considered with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
You will also have:
- Ability to develop and maintain successful working relationships
- Ability to use diplomacy skills in all communication
- Facilitation skills
You will also be a self-starter with the ability to work to a great extent on your own initiative with limited supervision and the ability to think laterally.
You will be able to demonstrate in the following:
- Experience of delivering a project to the deadline
- Experience of research/analysis
- Experience in networking and partnership working
The post-holder will report to one of the Coordinators / Senior Project Officers.
