“If you’re trying to engage the best talent while trying to funnel a more diverse group of candidates into your hiring process, then AAI is a great place to start.”
Why did you need to enlist AAI’s services?
“In efforts to improve the company’s diversity, Pawprint decided to create more internal opportunities for those from underrepresented groups to learn about the tech industry, how it works and to gain some valuable experience. AAI were able to help Pawprint in accessing a diverse range of talent and find just the right cultural add-on for the company.”
“The process was made so simple.”
What was the process of working with AAI like?
“The process was really great. We worked closely with Jane (AAI’s Talent Engagement Lead), who was an absolute angel, a delight to talk to and so amazing at guiding me through a process I’d never been through before.
The process was made so simple, with Jane screening all of the candidates before passing them over to us with her recommendations. Without the team’s help, the experience could’ve been a lot more daunting and could’ve had a much higher chance of going wrong.
AAI have access to a really strong diverse network. If you’re trying to engage the best talent while trying to funnel a more diverse group of candidates into your hiring process, then AAI is a great place to start. It’d be a major loss to not make use of them.”
What were the outcomes?
“Sindy came in to be a Social Media Intern on a 12-week placement to help us boost our social media presence. They were so excited, had so much enthusiasm and were really committed to working hard.
Their feedback was that it was a really positive experience for them. They loved the Pawprint team and were so appreciative of what they’d learnt and the opportunity they’d been given.
Pawprint got some really useful support in being provided with someone incredibly helpful, who could give our social media their full attention. They helped influence a much more solid process for how Pawprint shares on their social media.”
