£19,000 Full-time, 38 hours per week for 9 months

GDBS are a multi-functional, global shared services function, impacting virtually every part of Diageo around the world, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. GDBS focus on further improving business efficiency, liberating and empowering our markets to concentrate on commercial growth. This could range from a focus on delivering high quality IS services, technology or end-user support operations through to systems architecture, portfolio management or transaction and analytical services.

This is an exciting opportunity for individuals with business analysis, analytics or database provisioning experience to be involved right from the inception stage of a new team. This new team will have the objective of delivering world class analytics solutions using the most up-to-date technologies (SQL and microstrategy), to deliver mobile visualisations to senior stakeholders in the supply centre.

The ideal candidate will be educated to degree level with a background in database provision and build using SQL, BODI, analytics project management, or a related discipline. You will be dynamic, organised and proactive with a strong attention to detail. Analytical skills, communication and problem solving skills are essential. Ability to build great relationships and hit the ground running with stakeholders at all levels and across multiple functions/geographies will be critical to success in this role.

You will be comfortable working on your own initiative with little task management, however you will be part of a very supportive and fast paced team.
