The Role

Firetree Alchemy is now looking for an organised and proactive Event and Community Support Coordinator to join their team remotely in Scotland (ideally). This is an exciting role that will allow you to develop and support a growing mission-driven organisation. You will play a fundamental role in organising and delivering events and teaching courses, whilst communicating with people from all walks of life interested in self-care and personal development.

Key responsibilities:
• E-Marketing content creation and distribution (Mailchimp)
• Community engagement (on and off-line)
• Website maintenance (Squarespace)
• Support online course creation (Thinkific)
• Copywriting and proofreading
• Event logistics and delivery
• General administrative duties as required

 

Requirements

You will suit this role if you are a warm and friendly people-person who loves being in a support role to help things flow beautifully. You’ll be a naturally inquisitive person who is not afraid to take initiative and make decisions on your own. With a logistical mindset, you will be someone who seeks to support the growth of community and understanding.

Essential:
• Exceptional level of verbal and written English
• Strong copywriting skills
• Experience managing a brand identity through social media business channels
• Ability to quickly develop a deep understanding of what the company does
• Inquisitive nature, not afraid to ask questions and take responsibility
• A strong desire to learn and grow in this work
• Maturity, empathy and emotional intelligence galore

Desirable:
• Experience with Squarespace or similar
• Good knowledge of Mailchimp back end and email design and sequencing or similar
• Experience using basic image editing tools (such as Canva or Adobe packages e.g. Photoshop, Illustrator)
• Experience with Thinkific or similar for creating online training courses
• Comfortable with using Project Management platforms like Trello / Asana to schedule tasks / organise many projects
• Experience or training in any of the areas of Firetree Alchemy’s work

You will be comfortable with being somewhat flexible about working hours initially, although there are set days and times offline, which sets a healthy balance.

Fundamental to this role is a firm belief in the work of Firetree Alchemy with a dedication to their own path of consciousness, cultural or indigenous reclamation or holistic healing. Exchange

This is a unique opportunity to work with and learn from a leading medicine woman, ceremonial guide, alchemist & bodyworker. Within this role, there is tremendous potential for personal and professional growth working towards a collective mission, with fun, passion and truth at its heart. Payment will be arranged initially on an exchange basis, starting with 3-5 hours a week for 3-months with a view to increasing hours over time and potential of a paid position for the right person.

Depending on your location, you will receive a 6-month mentorship (worth £1380, online or in-person) or joining the training for School of Energy Alchemy, starting July 2020 (worth £1380, in-person). In addition, you will have opportunities to attend online courses, ceremonies, workshops and retreats.
