The Role

Genoa Black is looking for a Finance Manager to ensure the smooth operation of the financial side of their company including streamlining and improving current financial processes, and providing support to other team members.

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Development of process and format and delivery of monthly management accounts for
Board meetings
• Developing and delivering weekly team client billing status to Directors
• Reviewing and developing Genoa Black’s financial processes, procedures & controls (POs, expenses, supplier data, credit cards, monthly invoicing to clients)
• Developing and managing the cash flow analysis & forecasting system
• Developing a framework for budgeting setting & measurement
• Reconciliation process for the company bank accounts & banking facilities
• Project, time, team and individual performance reporting format development and
• Genoa Black financial data preparation for Accountants
• Setting a framework and systems as well as on-the-job training for the Business Administrator

Essential skills:
• Qualified by experience or part qualified
• Board-level reporting
• Advanced user of Excel
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong team liaison and ability to implement new processes
• Experienced in Quickbooks online
• Experience of team leadership, management and training/ coaching
• Comfortable working in a time-based company environment and with associated timesheet software
• Problem-solving skills and an ability to think outside the box
• Outstanding organisation
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Ability to work on own initiative and to multiple deadlines
