Adopt an Intern Ltd, the social enterprise company that advertises paid jobs to university graduates across Scotland and the UK, have won big at the Scottish Business Awards 2015.

Beating off competition from global companies including Enterprise-Rent-a-Car and Sykes Global, Adopt an Intern picked up the prestigious Customer Focus Award.

This award was sponsored by Royal Bank of Scotland and recognises the business that best demonstrates that the customer is at the heart of everything it does.

Joy Lewis, Chief Executive of Adopt an Intern, was there to pick up the Award on the night.  She said:

“We are so honoured to have won the Customer Focus Award at tonight’s Scottish Business Awards. Thank you to every single one of our customers: employers, graduates and everyone in between, you are the heart of what we do.”

Adopt an Intern Ltd was founded in 2009 offering recruitment and HR services as a social enterprise. They have placed over 1000 graduates into paid positions, with companies ranging from the smallest of start ups to Diageo and Abellio. 100% of profits go towards supporting young jobseekers and reducing unemployment.
