“… ‘Internships make it more of a level playing field. It’s OK doing unpaid work experience if you have parents to support you but a lot of people don’t have that as an option and it makes it an unfair employment market.’
Over the past five years, Adopt an Intern has been working with employers to come up with projects that would be suitable for someone fresh out of academia.
Street says that overwhelmingly the results are that employers are getting much more out of their interns than they expected.”
