The Role

The role will be based in Glasgow or Milton Keynes but please note, that this is with a consultancy company and as you progress you will be required to spend more time based in clients’ sites. Whilst every effort is made to keep consultants local to home, some travel across the UK is inevitable and must be something you can live with.

Agile is an established consultancy renowned for expertise in Data Management and Innovation. A college or university STEM 2:1 (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) degree is desirable.

The ideal candidate will be a creative and enthusiastic technical problem solver, with strong written and verbal communication skills. You will be curious about the interaction between people and the technology that supports them to live and work in a better way.

From a communication perspective, you must be able to demonstrate that you are articulate and able to build rapport with others; that you possess a confident, friendly and assured communication style, with the ability to listen and absorb information and demonstrate understanding with a proactive approach to problem-solving.

From a technical aspect, you should be able to demonstrate your knowledge and be able to show your analytical mind, capacity to learn and develop new technical skills quickly. Individuals with skills and practical experience in any of the following technologies will be of particular interest to us.

To be successful in this role you will need to be able to demonstrate abilities in 2 main areas:

Skills: Agile, Cloud Platforms, DevOps & Scrum methodologies Business & Systems Analysis Team working and dynamic teaming

Environment & Tools:
· AWS, Google Cloud or Azure

Python, R & Shell scripts:
· Virtualised systems (Vagrant)
· Spark
· Kubernetes
· Tensorflow
· Git Jenkins
