Congratulations to Brightwork Recruitment Ltd, who as of today became the first Living Wage Accredited recruitment company in Scotland.
The company celebrated with an opening ceremony at their brand new office in Bath Street, Glasgow. The ceremony was hosted by Roseanna Cunningham MSP, Cabinet Secretary for Fair Work, Training and Skills.
The Minister commended Brightwork Ltd, founded in 2006 and an employer of over 70 staff, on leading the way to change the conversation about fair work in Scotland.
Ms. Cunningham was impressed by the company’s contribution to youth employment as well.
Louis Harper, Social Media Intern at Brightwork Ltd, recruited by Adopt an Intern, and a graduate of Edinburgh Napier University, was off to a flying start in his new internship with a photoshoot of Ms Cunningham at today’s opening. The Minister was also given a tour of the new premises by one of two Modern Apprentices working at the company.
Louis was recruited by Adopt an Intern for Brightwork Recruitment in October 2015 for a 12 week paid internship.
