Project Assistant Intern with We Are The Future

£7.85 per hour. Part-time, 20 hours per week for 12 weeks

WeAreTheFuture is a not-for-profit organisation built by entrepreneurs to deliver inspirational events around the world, where world leading entrepreneurs and organisations share the secrets to their success.

As a Project Asssistant Intern you will assist the team at WeAreTheFuture on various international projects and initiatives. Within this role you will

• Be WeAreTheFuture’s first point of contact for the general public, by being responsible for general enquiries via email, phone and websites. 
• Provide administrative support for WATF events including but not limited to venue bookings, scheduling, volunteer coordination, providing exhibitor booking confirmations, and delegate registration.
• Assist in the smooth running of  WeAreTheFuture events including but not limited to venue set-up and takedown, volunteer coordination, stage design.
• Assist with the WeAreTheFuture membership scheme.
• Coordinate various projects under the supervision of the team
• Ensure the WATF database is up to date with the most current and relevant information. 
• Assist the events team in creating and managing mailing lists. 
• Send and collect all audience, venue and company feedback of WATF events; ensuring all feedback information is up to date and archived
• Produce reports for WeAreTheFuture including but not limited to marketing research, factual research, studies of different entrepreneurship networks in the UK.


We’re looking for a smart, confident and proactive graduate who has a strong interest and passion for Entrepreneurship. Previous experience of events management would be beneficial.

You must have good IT and administrative skills, be confident and personable when dealing with people and have excellent oral and written communication skills. You will be able to respond to tasks and work confidently and efficiently. You must be organised, driven and enthusiastic about inspiring entrepreneurship through unique events. You will be collaborative and work well with other teammates (but can work alone when necessary). The successful intern will be comfortable working in a fast paced environment and be able to problem-solve quickly
