Social Media/Online Communications and Relationships Manager with Juice Warrior

Juice Warrior is run by a Glaswegian couple who bonded over their PASSION for health and well-being who set out on an adventure to bring RAW, COLD-PRESSED JUICES to the Glasgow masses. Juice Warrior sells at farmer’s markets and also delivers fresh juice packs and cleanses to your home or workplace.

Location: Home-based with regular meetings in Glasgow

£7.85 per hour. Part-time, 20 hours per week for 12 weeks
Ideal start: Mid-March 2015

Working with Juice Warrior your main responsibilities will be
• Creating and delivering social media campaigns and promotions across Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and the company website on a daily basis.

• Creating a robust social media strategy that can be used ongoing and complements the company ethos and personality.
• Creating a Crowdfunding campaign (Kickstarter, GoFundMe) to help fund goals defined by Juice Warrior.
• Ensuring any accompanying promotional materials & activities are carried out in order to meet targets.  
• Developing new marketing and communication materials following recent company rebranding, including video marketing.
• Identifying potential clientele across Glasgow area and take initiative to establish a relationship.
• Dealing with customer queries and orders on a daily basis. This entails scheduling and organising orders, and delivery dates between the company and customer. 

This is a great opportunity to own and work on a project from beginning to end.


The ideal intern will be a motivated self-starter with an outgoing personality. You should have a basic knowledge and experience of social media campaigning and management as well as experience of video creation and editing.

You will have exceptional communication skills (oral and written) alongside a creative and resourceful nature that can help develop a unique and exciting slant to online content. You will be confident and professional when establishing new relationships and dealing with customers. You should be comfortable will all things technology and be able to learn on-the-job by doing.

A good knowledge of, and passionate about, the health and nutrition industry (particularly plant-based nutrition and diets) would be beneficial. Ideally you will have access to and experience with video editing software such as Photoshop.

(This role is on a self-employed basis. Please note that you will be invoicing Adopt an Intern as a freelance/consultant. This is a very simple, uncomplicated process. You will also be advised to register as self-employed with HMRC if you are not already registered. Please note, students in Scotland on a Tier 4 Visa are not permitted to be self-employed and therefore will not be considered for this role.)
