£19,000 per year
Full-Time 35 hours per week for 12 months. NB: There is potential for this to be extended for the right candidate.

Due to company expansion Beam Suntory UK wish to take on a graduate to supplement their Glasgow based team, which has an excellent track record of talent development and retention.
About the Role
The purpose of the role is to support the UK & Ireland tax department in delivering tax services to Beam. Employed as a UK Tax Intern you will work in full and close liaison with the UK tax team providing support in the below areas.
The role will include:
•Preparing tax filings for submission to HMRC – corporate/indirect tax/employment taxes
•Preparing tax forecasts and reports
•Assisting with tax projects
•General administration assistance
•UK Tax Team
•Worldwide Tax Team
•External – Advisors; HMRC; Auditors
The ideal candidate will be educated to degree level (accounting degree or experience essential). This role requires good IT skills (MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint) plus the ability to communicate with a range of stakeholders. You must have strong and demonstrable numerical, analytical and organisational skills. A willingness to learn about all areas of the UK taxation system is essential.
