The Organisation

Fuze has three key purposes – Training Celebrants, promoting our Celebrant Services and offering not-for-profit Ceremonies via The Fuze Foundation.  Fuze is redefining what society has come to expect from ceremonies by training Celebrants to a high level, enabling them to create and deliver a one-of-a-kind script that tells your stories in a way that truly represents who you are.  Our motto ‘Your Day, Your Way’ encapsulates everything we believe a ceremony should be and the joy of having a ceremony is that it truly can be anything you want it to be.

We Train Celebrants (Officiants) and deliver engaging, entertaining and personality-packed Ceremonies that reflect our clients’ individuality and tell their tale.  From our next-door neighbours to celebrities and professional athletes, we have conducted ceremonies from every corner of society and we love it!

More information can be found on the Fuze Ceremonies website here.

The Role

The current pandemic, its associated restrictions and its high mortality rate have highlighted the crucial need to provide funeral services to families of an appropriate standard. The digital delivery of virtual ceremonies must not detract from the dignity of the situation or distract from the celebration of an individual's life.

Virtual ceremonies fit well into our current business, enhancing the services we already offer and demonstrating we are innovators of modern ceremonies. We are looking for people to help us immediately as there is an urgent need for the services to be developed and delivered.

To make this happen we are looking for talented, creative people to help us help others at this difficult time. As a project this work will be carefully managed with all tasks broken down into clear deliverables, enabling us to parcel these into manageable packages.  Examples of facets of the project are as follows:

• Wordpress:  Web Development
PR/Journalism/Writing:  Developing copy and promoting new services
Blogging & Social media:  Content creation and management
Graphic Design:  For all marketing materials
Video editing: To help with Youtube content creation
Advisors:  With knowledge of Wedding / Funeral industry; Grief and bereavement, mental health
Social Researchers:  To help with primary research and service development
Technical Innovators:  To assist with the technical aspects of live streaming services

We already work well as a distributed home-based team. The length and duration of the work is subject to your availability.
