The Kickstart Scheme is a current initiative from the UK Government to encourage economic growth whilst supporting social mobility in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The £2 billion fund will create thousands of 6-month work placements for young people aged 16-24 who are currently claiming Universal Credit. This will provide work experience and skills for the employees, and boost capacity and output of partnering employers.
AAI EmployAbility is proud to have been named a recognised gateway organisation to aid businesses who may require fewer than 30 placements in accessing this support.
