Job hunting experience – My internship was the first job I applied for post graduation.
Role and Responsibilities – Running business objects reports, compiling freedom of information requests and maintaining the Finance social work database.
Where are you now? – After my internship, I was given a full time permanent role within the same team at Renfrewshire Council. This opportunity gave me the confidence and ability to apply for my current role.
At the moment I am working for Morgan Stanley as an analyst within Finance Risk. The company are putting me through my Chartered Accountancy qualification and offering me plenty of other learning opportunities. I currently assist with producing risk reports for the Global and Europe CFOs of the Firm. It is a very fast-paced and exciting role with plenty of interaction with colleagues from around the globe.
I can’t recommend the Adopt an Intern program enough!
