Kames is looking for a Data Analyst to work within their global AAM Operations team based at their Edinburgh Park offices. In your role as Data Analyst you will be involved in a wide variety of work, including:
• Security Set Up
Responsible for setting up investment instruments in relevant environments
• Exception Checking
Checking and resolving data exceptions on a daily basis
• Change/Project Tasks
Assisting the Data Agile team with testing activities
The Data Analyst will be required to work a shift pattern which operates between the hours of 7.30am and 5pm.
The following skills and experience are desirable:
• Educate to degree (or equivalent) level
• A basic understanding of the investment industry as a whole
• Ability to learn new systems quickly
• Markit EDM experience
• Attention to detail, well organised and analytical in approach
• Competent in the use of Microsoft Office apps such as Excel, Word
• A self-starter, able to take on a task with little direction
• A strong team player with a positive, can-do attitude
• Excellent literacy and numeracy skills
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
