Digital Marketing and Social Media Intern with Vamos Scotland

VAMOS SCOTLAND is an independent art management consultancy, to promote new and exciting artists and innovative and cultural projects in Scotland. VS works to promote creativity in all its forms and focuses its energy on projects which have a positive and social impact.

Location: Edinburgh, with the opportunity for some remote working
£7.85 per hour. Part-time, 20 hours per week for 12 weeks

Vamos Scotland are looking to bring on a graduate intern to focus on Digital Marketing and Social Media Management. Within this role your main responsibilities will include developing and delivering the social media strategy and digital campaigns for the organisation and managing the day-to-day running of the company’s social media and digital channels, taking responsibility for growing audience engagement and advocacy.


Vamos Scotland are looking for a motivated digital and social media expert that can demonstrate the following:
• Proven experience in working with consumer brands on their digital and social media strategy.
• Knowledge and experience of developing social media plans and executing online activities.
• Solid skills in copy & content writing for online articles, blogs and social content
• A proven track record in driving tangible business results from the use of social media.

The ideal candidate will be detail–oriented with the ability to work efficiently within a small team. You will have the confidence to own and deliver digital initiatives, but also a sense of initiative and an eye for opportunities. You should have strong analytical skills including the use of Google Analytics. The successful intern will be a great communicator and influencer, well organised, methodical and efficient

Fluency in Spanish is essential, additional language skills in Italian or French would be a plus.

(This role is on a self-employed basis. Please note that you will be invoicing Adopt an Intern as a freelance/consultant. This is a very simple, uncomplicated process. You will also be advised to register as self-employed with HMRC if you are not already registered. Please note, students in Scotland on a Tier 4 Visa are not permitted to be self-employed and therefore will not be considered for this role.)
