Thirteensquared is a resourceful multi-media company, committed to working with UK based Social Enterprises and Charities, specialising in high quality film & photography production.  We are committed to initiating & producing new & innovative creative projects that have a strong & positive impact on local communities.  We work with charities, social enterprises and the third sector to produce films, photographic projects and digital media that can have an invaluable impact for our clients. We have over 15 years experience of film, photography and digital media projects. 
Thirteensquared works predominantly with charities and social enterprises as well as with corporate clients to a lesser extent and you must have a genuine interest in working in these sectors.  We also strive to make our films as creative and visually engaging as possible. The Role 
Thirteensquared are looking for a Filmmaker Intern to join their team. Your main tasks will include: 
• Operating the camera 
• Ingesting and logging media 
• Preparing footage for edits 
• Editing on a basic level 

Thirteensquared is looking for a creative, ambitious, focused filmmaking Intern who is sociable and has excellent communication skills.  You need to have been to film school or have had previous experience of all aspects of the filmmaking process, especially operating cameras and editing skills.  Experience of working on a mac and excellent knowledge of photoshop and premiere pro are also essential.  
As stated above, you must have a genuine interest in working in the charity and not-for-profit sectors. 
Ideally you will have a strong combination of creative drive, good technical film making skills and a willingness to work hard to further your own filmmaking skills.  You need to able to work on own initiative as well as part of a small team, with the ability to think outside of the box.  You will be supported to further develop your skills and you will gain invaluable experience of working within a creative environment to tight deadlines on a variety of different live projects.  You must be able to meet all agreed deadlines as well as being well organised with a methodical approach to work. 
Any experience of, or an interest in, social media and marketing would be a bonus but not essential.  A driving license is also desired but not essential.
