PR and Brand Development Intern with Filipa Oliveira Jewellery

Filipa Oliveira is an award-winning Portuguese Jeweller, based in Dundee.

Location: Dundee, but can be home-based
£7.85 per hour. Part-time, 20 hours per week for 12 weeks

A graduate of Duncan and Jordanstone College of Art and Design, she makes contemporary handcrafted jewellery from gold, silver and gems using a 5000-year-old technique passed down through the generations.

Filipa Oliveira is now looking to expand her brand through the help of a talented graduate intern.

The main tasks of the PR & Marketing intern will be to help promote the brand, messages and products to connect it with the target audience. Specific tasks may include:
• Writing professional copy to promote Filipa Oliveira Jewellery to consumers and the industry
• Assist with the development and maintenance of the existing website
• Promotion through digital marketing, including developing social media presence
• Help develop a marketing campaign for the upcoming year
• Gaining new contacts and stockists
• Writing artist statements and newsletters
• Researching trade shows and funding opportunities.


The successful intern will be educated to degree level with a background in marketing, PR, journalism or design and show a strong interest in the creative industries. Previous experience in marketing, PR and social media would be an advantage. Excellent IT, written and oral communication skills are essential.

The intern should feel confident in contacting the media and speaking with new contacts and stockists. You should have a positive attitude and be able to show initiative and manage your own time effectively.
