Strategic Tourism Analyst Intern with Highland Campervans

Highland Campervans is an established business, based on the outskirts of Inverness, offering a variety of services to campervan and motorhome owners, both locals and visitors alike.

Location: Tornagrain (7 miles from Inverness), with potential for some home-working
£7.85 per hour. Part-time (20 hours per week) for 12 weeks

Ideal start date December 2014 / January 2015

As a Strategic Tourism Analyst, your main tasks will be to review the current facilities and information provided to motorhome and campervan users in Scotland and to look at other best practice industry examples worldwide and identify key strategies to move the sector forward in Scotland, beginning with the Highlands and Islands region.

Highland Campervan’s main office is located on the A96 near Inverness. The business is easily accessible and on a main bus route (Tornagrain stop) between Inverness & Nairn


The ideal candidate should have an interest in the Tourism industry. You will have strong communication skills, both written and oral, and be able to produce concise reports. You will be highly organised and possess the ability to co-ordinate, process and summarise, multiple sources of information and ideas into a strategic plan. You should be self-motivated, able to work on your own and as part of a team.
